Evansville Area Part-Time Member Service Representative/Tellers

Evansville Area Part-Time Member Service Representative/Tellers

ETFCU is currently seeking energetic Part-Time Member Service Representatives/Tellers to be a part of the ETFCU Team. Tellers will be assigned a home branch within the Evansville area. Candidates must be available to work up to 28 hours per week including Saturdays. If interested, please complete and return an application as well as your school schedule (if applicable). Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing prompt, efficient friendly service.
  • Processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, VISA payments, VISA cash advances etc.

  • Balancing a cash drawer on a daily basis.
  • Cross-selling credit union services and products to members to meet sales goals.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a HS diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel to other office locations when needed.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and do some heavy lifting.
  • Must have 1-2 years of cash handling experience.

Financial Advisor

Financial Advisor

ETFCU Financial Group, a subsidiary of Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union, is currently seeking a professional Financial Advisor to build strong relationships and excellent service to members, clients, credit union staff and any affiliated company. Applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to generate business inside and outside of the credit union membership. Candidates must be able to work effectively in a team environment and independently. Gaining knowledge of ETFCU Financial Group and ETFCU’s products and services is essential to candidates success. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Meet with members and provide expertise in helping them manage their personal financial situation. Acquire expertise in the following areas:
    • Cash Management
    • Protection Planning through use of insurance products

  • Demonstrate expertise in using any financial planning tools available. Mastery of these items should be a part of the basic financial planning process.
  • Actively manage assigned members by holding review appointments when requested and seeking out reviews on an annual basis. Become an active part of the outreach for new members and/or clients to ETFCU Financial Group and Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union.
  • Establish commitment to “needs based selling” and building relationships with willing members and clients.
  • Meet all continuing education requirements for the insurance and security licenses.

Market Data Analyst

Marketing Data Analyst

ETFCU is currently seeking a detail-oriented Market Data Analyst. The candidate must have the ability to pull, analyze data and determine the accuracy of reports. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop a working knowledge of various data sources within the credit union including but not limited to Lodestar data warehouse, FIS, Debit Insights, Digital Insight Admin Platform, and Marquis ExecuTrax MCIF platform.
  • Develop queries and procedures for gathering, delivering, and analyzing data:
    • Prepare monthly trending reports and track key areas as defined by management.
    • Analyze reports and perform quality control by comparing reports to credit union data obtained through batch reports, from other departments, or through other means as necessary.
    • Use Excel to create charts and graphs and to perform data analysis.
    • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Data Processing, and other departments to determine additional products and services to include in cross-sales ratio.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies using data obtained through data analysis.
    • Pull direct mail and email lists for marketing campaigns executed by ETFCU or the service organization.
    • Track results from campaigns through follow-up data analysis.
    • Identify ways to improve upon existing reporting methods.
  • Manage the credit union’s online forms and surveys through FormStack.
  • Assist in creating debit card, credit card, and other marketing campaigns, from concept to fulfillment.
  • Assist as needed with other marketing duties.
Overdraft Specialist

Overdraft Specialist

ETFCU is currently seeking a detail-oriented Overdraft Specialist. This position is specifically responsible for the Courtesy Pay program at the credit union. The candidate is responsible for understanding all overdraft procedural processes and application management. Daily tracking of activity and coordination with various departments are required to provide superior service while staying mindful of the regulatory guidance and risk management aspect of the overdraft service. Applicants with 2-3 years previous financial services experience is recommended. Applicants must have proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with report building is a plus. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure proper Reg E Opt In training for new and existing employees.
  • Prepare and analyze periodic and on-demand management reports on Courtesy Pay services.
  • Complete the daily operations necessary to manage currently overdrawn accounts:
    • Monitor operational functions of Courtesy Pay jobs in the credit union’s core processing system.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for questions regarding the overdraft services for employees of the credit union.
    • Monitor income, refunds, charge offs and recoveries for overdraft services.
    • Update and maintain account files, as necessary, including eligibility status changes, member or credit union removal of the Courtesy Pay service, and reinstatement of service.
    • Manage communications to members (letters, phone calls, emails, etc.).
    • As needed, coordinate with the Asset Protection department for repayment plans with account holders according to established procedures.
    • Analyze account data to communicate to members and proactively assist them with the overdraft protection options.
  • Coordinate data gathering with the Market Data team as needed.
  • Coordinate discussions with compliance/risk teams when necessary regarding member communications, program policies and procedures, training materials, internal audits, and annual NCUA examination preparation.

Workout/Foreclosure Specialist

Workout/Foreclosure Specialist

ETFCU is currently seeking a Workout/Foreclosure Specialist with excellent oral communication and problem solving skills. The candidate must be willing to be flexible in schedules, including working Saturdays and evenings. Experience in collections is preferred. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Monitor delinquent accounts, make collection calls and send letters/assistance packages when appropriate.
  • Negotiate opportunities for alternatives to foreclosures, repossession or loss.
  • Handle phone calls and correspondence from members with questions or concerns regarding their loans and provide timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Review financial packages and compare to guidelines of investor, insurers and management to determine the appropriate workout option available for the situation.
  • Discuss and correspond with the borrower their financial ability, intent and reason for default and recommend the appropriate retention solution.
  • Ensure all loans complete the foreclosure process within investor guidelines and credit union procedures.
  • Maintain foreclosure files.
  • Prepare disposition of credit union owned real estate.
  • Coordinate monthly submission of defaulted accounts to Freddie Mac and ArchMI.
  • Obtain CUNA Certified Financial Counseling certification.
  • Develop an understanding of all aspects of PC use in our office operation to include the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Be willing to alter workday hourly schedule to include working evening hours and Saturdays, as assigned by management.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the credit union’s data and word processing system.
