Application Analyst

Application Analyst

ETFCU is currently seeking an Application Analyst with a proven history of world class service-oriented tech support skills. The Application Analyst will identify, analyze, design, and maintain cost-effective information technology procedures that align with business initiatives and corporate strategies. This position will also be responsible for maintaining documentation after implementation. The candidate must be available for evening and weekend hours as necessary. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Schedule, monitor and develop as needed batch jobs for DNA daily and nightly processing, end of month processing and end of year processing as needed. Troubleshoot processing issues.
  • Design, develop, test, and analyze the DNA Core processing system based on related user and system design specifications. Report any issues with processing to Management.
  • Provide user maintenance for all Core and Ancillary software packages.
  • Manage updates to, issues with and any questions regarding various databases used at ETFCU.
  • Manage upgrades and troubleshooting issues on other ancillary systems as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational problems/system requirements.
  • Participating in testing and implementation of systems/application to assure accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain documentation describing program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
  • Train users and validate ability to use and run applications.

Additional requirements include:

  • College coursework, or formal training in information technology, computer science or related field.
  • Strong job knowledge and work experience within the financial services industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in application/systems analysis, workflow, or procedural analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience determining, developing, testing, and implementing system requirements and specifications.

Preference given to those with experience in Visual Studio, C#, SQL, PL/SQL, SQR Extensions, and PowerShell.

Computer Programmer

Computer Programmer

ETFCU is currently seeking a Software Developer/Analyst with comprehensive knowledge of programming techniques and applications/systems capabilities. The Computer Programmer will identify, analyze, design, and maintain cost-effective information technology solutions that align with business initiatives and corporate strategies. This position will also be responsible for maintaining and monitoring systems/applications after implementation. The candidate must be available for occasional evening and weekend hours as necessary. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Working with the management team to identify business requirements.
  • Analyzing, defining, and documenting requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, and operating systems environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external controls, and output. Revise assigned programs and/or procedures as necessary.
  • Documenting, diagramming, and organizing information for inclusion in database; developing input/output record layouts, or program views.
  • Coding programs, preparing test data, tests and debugging programs.
  • Revising and refining programs to account for changes in functional system requirements and equipment configurations.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving operational problems/system requirements.
  • Participating in testing and implementation of systems/application to assure accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation describing program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
  • Train users and validate ability to use and run applications.

IT Help Desk Specialist

IT Help Desk Specialist

ETFCU is currently seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist with a proven track record for maintenance, support, and upgrades for enterprise IT equipment. The successful candidate must have strong technical skills in enterprise troubleshooting, hardware/software configuration, and printer maintenance. Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but an Associates with comparable experience will also be considered. The candidate must also be available to work on evenings and weekends when necessary. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Strong technical PC skills in enterprise hardware are required as well as ability to track inventory in appropriate database or other equally applicable software.
  • Candidates must have strong communication skills, and also be capable of handling all aspects of IT hardware/software configuration and help-desk questions.
  • Must be able to effectively support user base with Windows troubleshooting skills in Win7 and XP.
  • Must be able to configure and deploy multiple machines at multiple locations.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange administration is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn configuration methods for a variety of software products is a must.
  • Certifications, namely Microsoft or CISCO, are desirable.
  • Requires working in a secure environment where data security and proper documentation are strictly adhered to.
