Audit Manager

Audit Manager

ETFCU is currently seeking an Internal Auditor with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and interpret written policies and procedures. The candidate must be able to work independently or as a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Determine whether internal accounting controls are adequate to ensure compliance with credit union goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Compile an annual audit plan and timetable commensurate with the risk assessment.
  • Create and update audit programs for all internal audits.
  • Obtain, analyze, and appraise data as a basis for an informed objective opinion on the systems and activities being reviewed.
  • Determine whether operating policies and procedures are adequate to measure and control to the acceptable amount of risk.
  • Manage audit staff and perform testing of controls to manage the risk of internal and external fraud.
  • Conduct investigations or special audits and communicate internal control weaknesses based upon audit findings.
  • Serve as liaison with outside auditors and regulatory examiners.

ET Shield, a subsidiary of the Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union, is expanding the property and casualty insurance agency’s portfolio to offer commercial insurance. ET Shield is seeking an experience licensed agent who is highly motivated to build the commercial insurance business within the ETFCU markets (in Indiana-Knox, Gibson, Vanderburgh, Posey, and Warrick counties and in Kentucky- Daviess and Henderson counties). Indirect Loan Specialist/Underwriter

The candidate must be detail oriented and have the ability to underwrite and determine the creditworthiness of loan applicants per credit union and secondary market guidelines. Mortgage Loan Originator – Inside Representative

ETFCU is currently seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator – Inside Representative. Mortgage Loan Sales Originator - Owensboro

ETFCU is currently seeking an experienced, motivated Mortgage Loan Sales Originator with excellent interpersonal and sales skills to originate mortgage loans on the first and secondary markets. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required. These positions have a base plus commission pay structure and require a 40 plus hour work week. Repossession Specialist

ETFCU is currently seeking a Repossession Specialist with excellent organizational and problem solving skills. Strong communication skills (both oral and written) are a must. The candidate must be willing to be flexible in schedules, including working Saturdays and evenings. Experience in repossessions and collections is required. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare and assign loans for repossession following the established policies and procedures.
  • Attend auto auctions representing credit union on the liquidation of assets.
  • Make recommendations of value and submit to Asset Protection Manager for approval.
  • Work with members to facilitate redemption collateral when appropriate.
  • Serve as a back-up to bankruptcy responsibilities.
  • Assist the Asset Protection Manager in all areas of collection.
Systems Analyst

Systems Analyst

ETFCU is currently seeking a Systems Analyst with a proven track record for maintenance, configuration, and design of enterprise network systems. The successful candidate must have strong technical and analytical skills in enterprise class server environments. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but an Associates with comparable experience will also be considered. The candidate must also be available to work on evenings and weekends when necessary. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for configuration and maintenance of current enterprise class Network Operating Systems and the servers used to run these systems.
  • Daily maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of front line business applications and support of users.
  • Daily maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of LAN network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and TCP/IP.
  • Candidates must have strong communication skills, and also be capable of handling all aspects of IT hardware/software configuration and help-desk questions as pertinent to tasks performed.
  • Must be able to effectively support user base with Windows troubleshooting skills in Win7.
  • Certifications, namely Microsoft or CISCO, are desirable.
  • Preference given to those with advanced server administration skills as well.
  • Requires working in a secure environment where data security and proper documentation are strictly adhered to.
  • Coordinate the services of vendors to assure quality and adherence to project schedules.
  • Must maintain current understanding of technology products and seek to find solutions that pursue organizational goals for continuous improvement.
Vincennes Branch Manager

Vincennes Branch Manager

ETFCU is currently seeking a Vincennes Branch Manager with excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills to be a part of the ETFCU Vincennes Office. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Serve as primary Consumer Loan Officer.
  • Serve as Branch Coordinator.
    • Provide supervision, guidance and training to office employees.
    • Track, approve, and report all days off of staff by maintaining employee timecards
    • Assist the HR Department in the hiring of new employees for branch positions as needed.
    • Monitor MSR cash drawer outs, transaction errors, and checks accepted outside of the Check Acceptance Procedures. Prepare and give warnings when necessary.
  • Perform account service/teller duties when necessary.
    • Open new accounts.
    • Assist members with investments such as certificates, IRAs and HSAs.
    • Run deposits, withdrawals, loan and Visa payments, and transfers.
  • Assist in the completion of mortgage loan applications and maintain a working knowledge of the mortgage loan products.
  • Open and close the office on a rotating basis or when necessary.
  • Serve as Saturday manager or any other assigned position on a rotating basis or when necessary.
  • Maintain branch facilities and grounds.
  • Seek business development opportunities and promote the credit union through presentations and information tables in the lobby, at schools, and other applicable groups.
